Graduate Solicitor Program
We are excited to have launched the Gordon Garling Moffitt 2025 Graduate Solicitor Program. Managing Partner, Vanessa Gibson and Partners Rachael Power and Andree Rowntree will be attending the 2025 Law Student Careers Summit hosted by the Law Society of NSW to encourage Graduates with a university degree in Law, as well as students currently studying law, to apply for our program. This event takes place on 13 March 2025 and is held at the International Convention Centre Sydney.
Our Trainee Program
Gordon Garling Moffitt has been recognised as a provider of a trainee employment program for over 25 years. We have staff who continue to work for us after having started as a trainee over 20 years ago. Other trainees have attained their qualification and gone on to open their own businesses whilst others have used it as a gap year after completing the Higher School Certificate to take the time to decide what career path they wish to head down or simply to earn enough money to go to University.
PLT Support Program for completion of Practical Legal Training
Gordon Garling Moffitt has a reputation for being one of the leading mid sized law firms in the Central West. We have Partners, Solicitors and Senior Staff with many years of combined experience making us well placed to support young lawyers into the rural legal industry. Many law graduates are unsure whether they want to enter the practise of law on a long term basis and can find it challenging to find a placement to complete their Practical Legal Training. We may be able to assist via our PLT Support Program.
